Connell Family Emergency Relief

Donation protected
On September 9, 2020, less than a week before my brother Sam's birthday, the North Complex Fire ripped through the mountains above Lake Oroville, CA. With moments to spare he and his family were able to escape while the fire raged behind them, destroying everything in its path, including their family home of 10 years and everything contained within. Suddenly, the only home my nieces, aged 4 and 6, ever knew was gone.

Sam, his wife Miki, and their two girls, Charlotte and Josephine, are living in a friends driveway, taking things one day at a time as they figure out their next step. I am starting this fund to help give them immediate support. Sam is a first responder and has placed himself in danger multiple times over the last several years as he helped many other families evacuate and deal with the aftermath of the destructive fires that are so common now. He has witnessed up close, the loss and heartache of many, and is now in the same situation.

100% of the money raised by this fund will go to Sam and Miki to help them with essentials as they work to put their life back together. Their most immediate need right now is shelter.

Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time!
