Connections - A Burning Man 2019 Art Project
Help us bring our Art Project "Connections" to Burning Man 2019!
Building on the foundation of the human form, we are bringing 10 uniquely painted mannequins that are designed to represent the spectrum of human emotions through colors.
The art piece represents the human experience. We live in a symbiotic relationship where we influence and affect change in one another. Through creativity, expression, and vulnerability, we are able to transform those around us, and they in turn transform us.
The installation will be accompanied by music from a local Chicago Burner collective. The music will coexist harmoniously with the mannequins that will further enrich each observers experience.
At night, the mannequins will also be illuminated. The illumination will breathe life and further animate these forms. To the observer, the mannequins will become representative of not only the Burning Man experience but also the human experience - a transformative journey, fueled by our human bond.
This project has officially been approved by Burning Man and assigned placement in Deep Playa.
