Baby Colson was born with undetected EA/TEF (Esophagus Atresia & Tracheoesophageal Fistula). His upper esophagus was connected to his trachea. Surgery was performed at just 2 days old. However, it was discovered that Colson had Long Gap TEF, and surgery was unsuccessful. We patiently waited for him to grow, and at 5 months old, a second connection attempt was made. Unfortunately, the tissue in his upper esophagus was not healthy enough to be successful.
Because of this, Colson is being referred as a patient to Children’s in Boston, the leading specialists in the world for babies with his condition.

We are beyond grateful and thankful for any and all support!
