This winter, thousands of people across our communities face a difficult choice — to heat or to connect.

As the temperature drops, digital exclusion rises. For those on low incomes, refugees, asylum seekers, and older adults, the cost of staying online can mean losing access to vital services, support networks, education, and job opportunities.

At IFB Gaming, we believe that no one should be left out in the cold or offline.

Through our Empowering Futures initiative and Winter Data Care programme, we’re taking practical steps to change that.

Together, we can:

1. Provide free or subsidised data SIMs to keep people connected.

2. Refurbish devices for learning, work, and community connection.

3. Deliver digital inclusion workshops that build confidence and independence.

We’re raising £5,000 this winter to:

1. Supply 250 Winter Data Care Kits (including data, device setup, and learning support)

2. Empower 100 learners through Empowering Futures digital sessions

3. Keep vulnerable households connected throughout the winter

What Your Support Means:

£10 = 1 month of data for a family

£25 = Device repair or setup support

£50 = A refurbished learning device

£100 = A community training mini-hub
