CONNECT Boys Dance Event

Want to contribute towards driving social change? We need your help to support & bring together more boys who dance to create larger communities to support them & normalise boys dance.
CONNECT is looking to hold events in Queensland, Adelaide, our 2nd event in Melbourne, & our 5th Sydney event in 2020!
$50 - helps us with marketing.
$250 - helps fund deposits on venues.
$500 - helps to acquire assistance with organisation of the events.
$1000 - helps to acquire guest teachers & mentors & we'll acknowledge your contribution in our social media & website.
$2500 - helps to acquire venues & we'll acknowledge your contribution in our social media, website, and at our events.
$5000 - Wow! Awesome! Helps with everything! Your contribution will be acknowledged consistently across our social media, website & at events (as well as a big hug from Tanya).

In 2016 I was inspired to create CONNECT - a dance event for boys, due to the rising number of boys at my studio & the need to support them & connect them with other boys who dance. I funded 2016 CONNECT with my $5000 personal emergency fund. The event cost over $10000 & while we sold tickets we ran at a loss.
CONNECT 2016 was awesome & I knew it had to become an annual event & grow to a national event.
Due to the amazing generosity of Trish & Little Ballerinas CONNECT 2017 became a possibility & support from Dancesurance helped our 2018 event & 2019 Melbourne event & we are so grateful for their support!
My CONNECT vision;
To grow larger communities to support boys who dance.
To create an environment of support, mentoring, inspiration & fun.
To celebrate the male dance community.
To normalise boys dance.
