Hi friends and family!

I'm Cheri Smith, sister of Katie Hickman. My sweet nephew Conley is scheduled to have open heart surgery on March 27th.

As you may know, Conley was born with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a combination of four congenital heart defects. He has a complex medical history and has had two other open heart surgeries (one at four days old and one at 6 months old). He now requires his third OHS to place an artificial valve.

We are so grateful that he will be in good hands again with pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Starnes at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

There are a lot of expenses that add up quickly when having surgery like this, such as gas, lodging, meals, copays, etc.
