Conkey's home lost in Slater Fire
Donation protected
On September 8, 2020 Mike, Lynette, and Nettina Conkey were caught on their remote family property up the South Fork of Indian Creek when the Slater Fire came raging down on them. They ran through flames to the edge of the creek, where they stayed for two days with nothing but what they had in their packs, a bit of food, and their cat. They lost the family home that they had built, lived in and loved for decades, possessions and both their vehicles. They are safe now, but are in need of support as they recover and rebuild. Thank you for sharing and donating.
