Conjure Coffee is teaming up with local landscaping company Rozelle Lawn & Landscape to bring sustainability to their new patio space and green spaces!

August 26, 2020. Fort Wayne, Indiana. In an effort to meet the demand for outdoor seating in the age of a global pandemic, Conjure Coffee has converted one of its parking lots into a patio with extra seating. In the process, the coffee shop hopes to bring not only safety and comfort but also natural diversity into the area by installing a restorative landscape habitat with the help of local landscaping company, Rozelle Lawn & Landscape.
Rozelle Lawn & Landscape specializes in sustainable lawncare and landscaping in an effort to increase biodiversity and reconnect people with the natural world. Rozelle’s restorative habitats attract pollinators, birds, and butterflies and combat the effects of climate change.
“Our hope is not only to expand our seating at the cafe, but also to provide a beautiful place to sit outside where our guests can rest and be refreshed,” Corey Waldron, Conjure Coffee’s proprietor, said.
In addition to the new plant life, it’s important to Waldron and Jay Rozelle, owner of Rozelle Lawn & Landscape, to educate guests and customers on native plants and the importance of biodiversity right in their backyards.
“Of course we want the patio to be a beautiful space for Conjure customers to connect with nature,” Rozelle said. “But more importantly, we want this to be an immersive experience for guests to learn and feel empowered to make these changes in their own yards.”
Conjure Coffee has a history of partnering with causes that promote positive ecological change and sustainability through things like the Orang Utan Coffee Project. Their partnership with Rozelle Lawn & Landscape is an exciting addition, introducing sustainability and ecological change right here in Fort Wayne.
