A Meaningful Milestone:
This year, I was honored to receive the The Congressional Award Gold Medal, recognizing years of commitment to service, personal development, and leadership.
I was also grateful to be accepted to my dream program--PROMYS, a rigorous mathematics immersion program in Boston.
Why This Matters To Me (and Hudson):
PROMYS is widely known for transforming how students approach mathematics, and it emphasizes patience, curiosity, and the discipline of building ideas from first principles. It’s also a rare opportunity to be fully immersed in a community of students who share the same pure math passions.
At the same time, attending the Congressional Award Gold Medal Ceremony is a meaningful way to reflect on years of effort in service and growth. Plus, it will be a unique bonding opportunity with my brother Hudson before I go to college, as he is my special guest, and he never got to go on his 8th Grade East Coast U.S. History field trip!
The Financial Plan
The total cost for both opportunities is approximately $11,000, including:
- PROMYS (tuition, housing, and travel)
- Congressional Award Gold Medal Ceremony (travel, lodging, and event costs for me & my brother)
To make this possible, I am working to share the responsibility:
- $3,000 — I aim to earn through tutoring, part-time work, and savings
- $4,000 — My family is contributing
- $4,000 — I am working to raise through fundraising and additional opportunities
How You Can Help:
Every contribution truly helps—thank you so much for your support.
- $25 → Helps with meals and daily expenses
- $50 → Supports transportation and supplies
- $75 → Contributes toward program materials
- $100 → Helps cover part of travel costs
- $150 → Supports lodging expenses
- $250 → Contributes toward program tuition
- $300+ → For those who wish to make a larger impact, helps make potentially attending both opportunities possible
My Employment Contribution:
I’m also offering paid math and physics tutoring and small group AMC/competition prep sessions, with all proceeds going toward these opportunities.
I have supported students preparing for AMC 10/12, AIME, USAMO, and USAPhO, as well as all levels of math from Algebra through Calculus BC.
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support—it truly means a lot to me. Please don't feel any pressure to contribute; only if you are able and if this won't be burdensome!
Your prayer support will also be enough and is most appreciated!
With warm appreciation,
Aiden
