Conformitarianism is a new devised circus play premiering at Brooklyn Art Haus in collaboration with Cirkus Moxie on October 21 & 22. Conceptualized by Kaitlin Gould, this production brings together a vibrant collective of artists with backgrounds in theatre, clown, movement arts, dance, gymnastics, and opera, all united by their passion for aerial performance and theatrical storytelling. The show dives deep into themes of conformity, the rise of authoritarianism, and the fight for individuality in a world that often pressures people to look and act the same. It also explores the complexities of girlhood and womanhood, challenging audiences to reflect on what it means to be authentic in today’s society.

Funds raised will directly support rehearsal room rentals, artist compensation, costumes, props, and essential production needs. These resources are crucial for the creative process, allowing the team to rehearse, develop, and bring this unique vision to life.
