Confessions: A Short Film by Josh Willenson

Hi, my name is Josh Willenson. I am humbly asking for your support of a short film I am producing and directing in September in Chicago. I am a 15-year-old writer, director and actor . In the past few years, I have had the privilege of acting in a number of television shows, films and commercials.

However, a real highlight for me has been the opportunity to write and direct my own short films in partnership with my manager, Management by Morgan .

My most recent short film, SENIOR NIGHT , was featured at the prestigious JDIFF - Julien Dubuque International Film Festival .

This summer I wrote an original screenplay entitled CONFESSIONS that I would love to turn into a short film. CONFESSIONS is a comedy thriller that follows 16-year-old Nick who is about to pull off one of greatest pranks in high school history. Yet, he is about to meet the most unlikely match - a certified nerd by the name of Obadiah Dingle.

Management by Morgan is very generously donating their Chicago area studio to me for three days. My parents are providing some significant start-up funds, but I still require at least $2000 to bring my dream to fruition.

Specifically, funds will be utilized to hire a very experienced cinematographer and audio engineer, both of whom are working at a significant discount. Other expenses will be utilized for editing, set expenses, props and more.

Anyone who contributes $100 or more will have their name added to the credits.

Anyone who contributes $500 or more will receive an Executive Producer credit.

I am especially grateful for your support because when I am older I want to go to film school and pursue a career in writing, directing and acting. This film could be a great asset in my pursuits in the future.
