Condolences for John A. Alessio

On Wednesday, December 9th my family's life changed forever. No matter what you called him...Tree, The Professor, The barber, Dad, Husband, Brother, or just Big John the list goes on... he was something else.

The most important things to him were his children, family, friends and his customers. He always wanted to do the right thing and if you were not doing that, he would let you know. His explanation of the right way was that there were two... the right way and his way and they were both the same.

He was always dad to me but as I made my way through this world I had many funny and sincere conversations with many people who thought the world of him. As I look back, I have never had any trouble understanding why they felt that way.

My Dad would want everyone to know that he left this world the same way he lived in it...ON HIS TERMS (The only option he ever gave).

He was not alone and he was ready even though we were not.
