We are so close to achieving one of our biggest dreams - to rebuild our old hay barn - which was unstable and leaking, ruining a lot of our hay.

We've raised £28,000 over the last year from two amazing charity funders which covered the quote to supply and construct the new barn. We undertook the dismantling of the old barn with help from volunteers and thought we were all set to start getting the new barn built - the materials are on site - however a site visit from the construction company revealed the existing concrete base doesn't work for the new structure. The metal legs need to be sunk into concrete and bolted. This is an unforeseen cost and therefore not covered by grants awarded.

Without this concrete we're unable to proceed with building the barn and protecting our precious hay in wet weather so this is an urgent request for help as we have 35 horses and ponies to feed over the winter.

We are a small charity dedicated to the rescue, care, rehabilitation and, where possible, re-homing of abused, neglected or abandoned horses and ponies.

​We aim to rehabilitate and re-home as many of the horses we take in as possible, however most of them come from an abused or neglected background. With this in mind the most important work is done in helping them learn to trust humans and feel safe again.
