I recently became a trustee of a fantastic charity called Concordis. They work with those involved in or affected by armed conflict to seek resolutions and build sustainable peace. I've witnessed first-hand the suffering and deprivations armed conflict causes and been involved in many attempts to alleviate it in various parts of the world. I know that Concordis' approach has an immediate and long term benefit for those affected by armed conflict. They are a lean outfit making a huge impact through their hard work, commitment and personal courage. I'd like you to help me raise some more funds for them, so they can do even more great work

In late April I, along with my two fantastic team mates, Geraint Evans and Tom Fothergill, will be taking part in the 2022 Patrouille des Glaciers. We have paid all costs ourselves, so any money raised here goes directly to Concordis. Go Fund Me will add an optional tip to help cover their costs which you can adjust or remove before payment. 

The Patrouille des Glaciers is one of the most demanding team races in the world. Organised every two years by the Swiss Army, the event is a ski mountaineering race for teams of three between Zermatt and Verbier. We will cover over 35 miles and ascend over 4000m in less than 24 hours all while skiing, climbing or generally tumbling and at times roped together in the dark. It is definitely Type 2 Fun (i.e not fun).
