Concord Boys Track 2019

This fundraiser is meant to support Concord High School's Boys track team for the 2019 season and into the future. Last year we won our first NLC title since 2011 and had participants in 4 state finals events, including an 8th place finish in the 400 meter relay!
Funds are used for the following:
1. Team snacks for weekly meets (we have about 65 athletes and 13 meets.
2. Celebratory Pasta meal at the end of the regular season.
3. Equipment purchase and maintenance that includes extra spikes to be used during competition, hurdles, starting blocks, discus, shot puts, pole vaults.
4. Major, near future, upgrades that include pole vault and high jump pits.
The reason we chose to use gofundme is because we were frustrated with how much of the profits from other fundraisers were kept by the company themselves, and also some of those products were more on the expensive side. Gofundme only keeps 2.9% of donations after a 30 cent administrative fee. So if you are generous enough to donate $20, we are able to keep over $19 of that donation! In the past, for a $20 donation, we would only be able to keep $8-$12 of your contribution.
We also realized that while most people would like to help, buying a $20 discount card, or "sports cup" was too expensive. With gofundme we are able to accept any size donation!
Our first meet is March 26th, donations will be used immediately.
