2nd Annual Kapan Fest Continues its Impact in Syunik:

This year Kapan International Music Festival (Kapan Fest) will open its doors again in July of 2024 for its second annual event. Join us, support and be a part of history!

About: One of its kind in Armenia, Kapan Fest is an annual event that brings together world- renowned artists, and discovers and nurtures future talents. It takes place in the city of Kapan, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Syunik.

2023- 1st Annual Kapan Intranational Music Festival and Grand Piano

For many Armenians and not only, Syunik region, with all its splendor and spirit, is unique for many reasons. The backbone of Armenia - just look at the map -and an area affected by the recent geopolitical developments, Syunik is also home to many world-known talents and professionals, including musicians, artists, scientists and athletes.

It’s crucial to nurture and continue this important feat, which is why the first-ever music festival will be taking place this summer in the beautiful city of Kapan, the administrative and cultural center of Syunik.

The Kapan International Music Festival will make a meaningful difference in the future of young promising Armenian musicians. The festival will host master classes, workshops and concerts with prominent classical performers from Armenia and around the world, who will travel to Kapan to have their special share in cultivating the young talents. It will be open to students of Syunik and other parts of Armenia and Artsakh.

For one full week in July, Kapan will become a center of music and hope. The events will be free and open to the public, reviving this vulnerable border area.

The State Art College of Kapan, the “hub” of the festival, has a large and beautiful concert hall with state-of-the-art acoustics. For many years, it hosted concerts and events thus serving as the country’s southern philharmonic. Yet, its decades-old grand piano is well overdue to be replaced. This campaign is created to help acquire a well-deserved new grand piano for the concert hall of the college. The new piano will become a symbol of hope as it will make a real difference by attracting artists and music lovers to this region, and, very importantly, by encouraging the youth to aspire for the brighter future they deserve.

Էս դժվար օրերում, շարունակ ու անդադար խոցվող Հայրենիքի համար կարեւոր է եւ օրվա հրամայականն է մշակույթի դերը իր հակաբացիլ ազդեցությամբ։

Այդ իսկ պատճառով մշակույթի սիրահարները, նրա դերը կարեւորող մի շարք նվիրյալներ լծվել են մի շատ կարեւոր գործի՝ սահմանամերձ Սյունիքում, կամ ինչպես ընդունված է ասել՝ Հայաստանի «ողնաշար» հանդիսացող զարմանալի աշխարհում, իսկ գործը՝ կրթամշակութային համերգարշավ է` իր զարգացումներով, հեռանկարով։

Էստեղ կարևոր է յուրաքանչյուրի սատարումը` նախագծի կայացմանը։

Ամռանը, Սյունիքի վարչական և մշակութային կենտրոնում՝ գեղատեսիլ Կապան քաղաքում, տեղի կունենա առաջին միջազգային երաժշտական փառատոնը:

Փառատոնը զգալի փոփոխություն կբերի երիտասարդ խոստումնալից հայ երաժիշտներին: Այն կլինի բաց ու հասանելի Հայաստանի բոլոր մարզերի ու շրջանների համար։

Հուլիսի մի ամբողջ շաբաթվա ընթացքում Կապանը կդառնա երաժշտության և հույսի կենտրոն։ Միջոցառումները լինելու են անվճար և հասանելի հանրության համար՝ նոր շունչ հաղորդելով այս խոցելի սահմանամերձ տարածքին։

Կապանի արվեստի պետական քոլեջը՝ փառատոնի հանգրվանն, ունի մեծ և գեղեցիկ համերգասրահ՝ ժամանակակից ակուստիկայով։ Երկար տարիներ այն շարունակել է հյուրընկալել համերգներ և միջոցառումներ՝ այդպիսով ծառայելով որպես երկրի «հարավային ֆիլհարմոնիա», թեեւ համերգասրահի դաշնամուրը հին է և անհրաժեշտ է այն փոխարինել նորով։

Այս նախաձեռնությամբ մենք հույս ունենք հավաքագրել միջոցներ՝ քոլեջի համերգասրահի համար արժանի նոր դաշնամուր ձեռք բերելու համար: Որը կդառնա հույսի խորհրդանիշ` խթանելով արվեստագետների ու երաժշտասերների հոսքն այս տարածաշրջան, և խրախուսելով տեղի երիտասարդներին դեպի արժանի երաժշտական ապագա։

Միացե՛ք մեզ՝ նպաստելով այս գործին, և եկե’ք միասին մաս կազմենք մի կարևոր փոփոխությանը: Կարեւոր է յուրաքանչյուրը։
