CONCERNED RESIDENTS OF EL DORADO HILLS HERITAGE VILLAGE
We need your help to protect our 55+ community’s well being, our health and safety and to prevent harm to the adjacent Carson Creek Wetland Preserve. The apathetic local government, EDH Community Services District (CSD), and the land developer are creating a destination competitive sports complex with 50-foot stadium lighting and acres of impervious surfaces in the middle of our community.
We need your donations to protect human and natural environments through legal counsel and defense, education, research, community organizing, community outreach and other affirmative actions.
The issues we seek to resolve with the help of your donations are:
—This sports complex is being developed without regard for the impacts of noise, traffic, parking, vagrancy and the welfare of our community’s senior residents.
—The impacts to the adjacent sensitive wetland preserve are alarming. The wetland environment is suitable for endangered species (the western pond turtle and the burrowing owl) as well as numerous wildlife species and special flora.
—Residents in the Heritage Community are the only and unfairly taxed residents. Taxes collected for the cost of maintenance and operation of this sports complex that remains unfinished and not-yet-open facility are absurd.
The Concerned Residents of El Dorado Hills Heritage Village is a non-profit public service 501(c)(3) corporation approved by the California Secretary of State and the Internal Revenue Service. Our membership is comprised of Heritage residents, friends and families who share our values and concerns.
