Our amazing NHS staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to save lives. This means staying away from their homes and families and working day and night to treat as many people as possible.
Meanwhile we are at our comfortable homes, complaining about having to play Monopoly again.
If in such difficult times, being bored is our biggest problem, we are the lucky ones.
And it’s time we use our privilege to help those in the front line.
Conceptual Boredom is a photography project that explores our connection with our homes, our things, our food and our bored minds. The project turns boredom into something valuable to raise awareness and get bored people like us to donate.
As NHS staff and volunteers look after COVID-19 patients in their greatest hour of need, we can help take care of the wellbeing of our NHS people.
NHS Charities Together supports, champions and advocates for NHS charities throughout the UK. Funds raised during the appeal will go to the charities to support the health and wellbeing of frontline NHS staff and volunteers.
Your donations will fund:
1. Wellbeing packs and gifts for staff and volunteers on wards and departments. This could include food deliveries, high energy/protein bars and drinks, snacks, refreshments, wash kits, overnight stay kits.
2. Cost of travel, parking, accommodation and expenses.
3. Other items as requested by NHS charities that enhance the wellbeing of NHS staff and volunteers caring for COVID-19 patients.
