Comscore Supports UNICEF for Ukraine

Calling all Comscorians and friends! With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, we will be raising funds to support UNICEF in its mission to provide vital humanitarian supplies to reach vulnerable children and families in the region. Please help us save and protect children caught in Ukraine's escalating crisis. Children are the least responsible for the war in Ukraine, but they suffer most from its consequences. Comscore will donate a minimum of $10,000 to support this cause. Every donation makes a difference.

 

UNICEF's humanitarian work in Ukraine has focused on safeguarding children's rights to safety, health, education, psychosocial support, protection and water and sanitation services. Water and education systems have been and continue to be frequently targeted in attacks, and access to safe water and schooling is disrupted and remains limited as a result. Ukraine's increasingly fragile health system continues to struggle to cover essential services. UNICEF provides critical support, particularly in the areas of childhood immunizations and HIV prevention.

 

All of these services and more are urgently needed as the situation in the country continues to deteriorate, posing an immediate threat to the lives and well-being of the country's 7.5 million children.

 

At the start of 2022, UNICEF was appealing for $15 million to address urgent needs in the eastern region. On March 3, 2022, UNICEF launched an emergency appeal to raise the $276 million it estimates will be required to sufficiently scale up relief efforts across the country. UNICEF is also appealing for another $73 million to assist those fleeing to Poland, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Hungary and elsewhere.

 

Your donation will help UNICEF ensure that Ukraine's children have access to safe water, nutrition, health care, education and protection. Less than 3% of funds go to administrative costs.
