We at Heridas Pero no Vencidas ("Wounded but not Defeated Women's Center") is a faith-based non-profit organization committed to the rehabilitation and empowerment of women who face hardship in our local community. HPNV was founded in 2007 as a women’s Christian ministry meant to establish a center where women can receive support and guidance through spiritual and secular education. We believe that our mission to provide impoverished women and men in our community with support groups, bible studies, ESL education, adult literacy, GED Tutoring, arts & crafts, job readiness workshops, domestic violence intervention, arts & crafts, seminars, and retreats is essential for the growth and betterment of our local neighborhoods. By offering all of these services free of charge our vision is to create active leaders and citizens in the communities they reside in.
You can make a difference today by donating today to Heridas Pero No Vencidas, Inc. ("Wounded, but not Defeated Women's center"). Our immediate goal is to create a computer lab for our participants where many of the services we provide will be accessible. Our goal is to be able to obtain 10 computers whether through a direct donation or by using donated funds to purchase the equipment. We would like to plead to your generosity to support us in our ultimate goal of creating tomorrow's leaders today.
