Computers for Olemoncho Primary School

Tax deductible
The Olemoncho Primary School has identified a pressing need for a computer lab to propel its students into the digital age. We at KSP recognize that the next generation of Kenyans must be equipped and trained in technology to compete in the job market. For this reason, we have launched a Computers for Olemoncho School fundraising campaign and we need your participation!

This is the largest project that KSP has undertaken, and will require matching grants and significant donations. We believe we are up to the challenge of raising the necessary funds. The Kind World Foundation has helped KSP jump-start the campaign with $10,000.

A bit of history regarding computers and tablets in Kenya: In 2015, the Kenyan Government started a program to fund schools' computers. Unfortunately, there was insufficient money to fund the program, and only a few tablets were supported per school. Olemoncho School initially received eighteen tablets, but only nine are still working. The school currently has about 350 students. The school administrators want at least 40 computers to teach computer literacy to the students. In addition to the computers, the school will need to build infrastructure for solar charging systems and a classroom with security to store the computers.

You can make a difference by donating today to the Kenyan School Project.

The Kenyan School Project is a small non-profit organization working to improve the lives of children in Kenya by promoting better educational opportunities and health. We take on one small project at a time and work with the administration and the community members to make the plan a reality.

To date, we have funded the building of four classrooms, two water projects, a fencing project, and a kitchen.

We are proud of what we have been able to achieve together, and are grateful for your trust in our ability to do a fabulous job on this important new project.
