Imagine...6 Million American children denied a basic education; 6 Million American children not able to go to school because of their economic status.
Unimaginable, right?
Luckily, this is not a reality here in the United States. We have a public education system that is not perfect but provides access to ALL children, regardless of their socio-economic situation.
Unfortunately, this IS a harsh reality for some children in Nigeria.
Education, especially in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), is severely lacking in several communities in Nigeria, and thousands of these children are affected.
We all know that when a child has the tools and skills to succeed, they can overcome many obstacles and challenges.
One group in Nigeria, led by Zion Oshibougie, is combating this disparity and building a free primary school that focus specifically on STEM to give students a chance at success.
But as the African proverb goes, "It takes a village to raise a child."
They need our help!
Real Dads Network has adopted Clever Minds Free Primary School
in the slums of Lyara community Warri Delta state, Nigeria, to help over 500 children get 21st-century tech skills.
We are purchasing 20 (refurbished) Dell Chromebook 3120 Intel Celeron n2840 2.16Hgz, 16GB Storage 4GB Ram computers to boost the technical literacy of these students in need of support.
We are looking to raise funds for the purchase and delivery of these computers. Now imagine, a small contribution from you having a significant impact on a child in need.
With your support, we all will be able to make a massive difference in these children's lives.
Please donate today.
