Hello. I am a long-term cancer survivor of over 15 years. As a result of my treatments and surgeries, I have many health complications including damage to my kidneys. All of these complications have greatly reduced my ability to do normal tasks. This has severely limited my income and, at best, I have not been able to do more than pay for bills. Recently this has become harder with the loss of my father, as his passing left me with more bills and extra stresses. On top of this, I have just received news of more health trouble, probably cancer again.

For most of the time, due to the limitations, I have primarily lived through my laptop. Unfortunately that has stopped being possible. Due to some serious problems with the motherboard, I am currently without anything other than my phone, which is very difficult for me to use for long periods of time.

Living under the poverty line and basically paycheck to paycheck, I cannot afford to repair it, if that is even possible. So, I am turning to the generosity of strangers to try to help. This feels like just begging, and honestly it probably is, but I really don't have other options. I know it is a very selfish thing to ask for, but if I do have to go through more cancer treatments again, I will be even more dependent on a laptop for being able to really live.

I am trying not to be greedy, I don't need too much help. Enough to hopefully pay for the repairs, or if people are generous enough, maybe just getting a newer laptop.
