Hi! My name is Jan Hebert; along with my friends Leo  Weiss and Henry Zelaya, we are

raising funds for the school children of Juticalpa,  Roatan, Honduras.

 

In Honduras, the government schools closed in 2020 and 2021 because of Covid.

The school is open, but the children only receive twelve hours of classes each

week. Juticalpa is a proud community but poor. Families do not have tablets or

the internet for online courses, and the children have fallen behind.

 

We plan to build a community lab that will be open six days a week. It will have

internet and twelve computers. ( Computers donated) Some adults living near the community have volunteered to teach STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathmatics) classes and English.

 

We have the land donated, and the community has volunteered to build it. We need

the funds to purchase the materials to start building.

 

Together we hope to give the children an opportunity to further their education!
