Computer Centre in Remote India for Poor Community

Donation protected
A story to relate too: We all have met such people in our lives who had influenced us to be a better person, has shown empathy and guided us to excel in life. And this campaign is for all of us to become that 'person'.

About Campaign:
I am from this small village in remote India where people still can't afford the basic education for their children and there are lot of them. The families are busy working hard to make the ends meet and the kids there have no idea on how the future looks like. The education in 'public' school is not that robust to expose them to the technology and probably there first introduction to the computers (read outside world) would happen between the age of 12-15; which leaves them vulnerable and less focused.

This initiative is planned to give the parents and children a motivation, a vision, a pathway for their betterment and a glimpse into the future using the technology.

Plan & Place:
The plan is to start with two rooms; one classroom and one computer lab and possibly grow it further based on the community interest and its impact.

Because I am from the same village and do not live there anymore; we are going to allocate our whole house to this initiative and to the community.

Why a computer centre:
Because this is a very basic thing now a days and opens the doors of imagination. You can use technology to Learn, to Draw, to Craft, to Communicate and Expose yourself to the world. And doing this systematically, can prove beneficial in the little world of those kids.

Why in remote:

Because these kids and communities have a limited or minimum exposure to the technology and that's where you can make a maximum impact.

Expenses:
We are not expecting any expense related to the space ( or I will bear it by myself) and the only expense we will have is:

1. A good Projector: 500-700$

2.  A Normal blackboard: 100$

3. Five Computers with UPS (desktop/laptop): 3000-4000$

4.  Table/chair: 200-400$

5. power backup batteries: [phone redacted]$

6. Solar power: part of plan but not budgeted

7. A generator: 1000-1500$; Electricity is a big problem in the remote

8. A teacher: 300-400$/month

Timeline:
My visit is planned from mid Sep 19 to Nov 19 and during this time, we will start the centre with all your help and contributions.

What will you Get out of this:
This project has a small footprint but a great impact on the humanity and in the lives of those people.

Once started, You can involve yourself to a greater extent such as visiting the locations, having a video call, sponsor a child and be a part of their journey and guide them to a greater good.

And most importantly, this is for inner peace and humanity.

Map to the regional location; so remote that even google haven't mapped it.
