Ajuda-nos a salvar o lar dos nossos patudos!

A Associação de Proteção Animal da Figueira da Foz (APAFF) está a viver um momento crítico.

O terreno que acolhe o nosso abrigo há mais de 20 anos, em Caceira, Alhadas, está à venda. O valor pedido pelos herdeiros é de 65.000€, um valor irreal para a nossa associação, que depende apenas das quotas dos sócios, de campanhas de angariação e do apoio da Câmara Municipal para as despesas diárias dos nossos 150 cães e gatos.

Se não conseguirmos comprar este terreno, corremos o risco de perder o abrigo e deixar estes animais sem um lar seguro.

O nosso objetivo: reunir fundos para comprar o terreno e garantir que estes patudos continuam a ter um lar seguro, com cuidados veterinários, alimentação e carinho. Cada contribuição, por menor que seja, ajuda a manter este abrigo vivo.

Histórias de Resgate – Antes & Depois

Estes são apenas alguns exemplos do trabalho que fazemos todos os dias.

A história da Nala

Antes: A Nala chegou até nós com o seu amigo Pointi. Ambos tinham sido abandonados e cruelmente deixados à sua sorte. A Nala estava assustada, magra e sem esperança.

Depois: Hoje, a Nala está irreconhecível - foi adotada e agora vive com uma família amorosa que a acarinha. De uma vida de negligência para uma vida de amor – a história da Nala mostra o que o resgate pode fazer.

A história da Nanda

Antes: A Nanda foi encontrada sozinha, sentada ao lado de um caixote do lixo - assustada, doente e invisível para o mundo. Tinha problemas nos olhos e precisava desesperadamente de cuidados médicos e de carinho.

Depois (em curso): Agora, a Nanda está em tratamento dos olhos e está a aprender, pouco a pouco, a confiar novamente. Com socialização e cuidados, está a descobrir que nem todos os humanos a vão abandonar. A sua jornada ainda não terminou - mas, pela primeira vez, tem uma verdadeira oportunidade de viver. ✨

Os Gatinhos da Floresta

Antes: Um grupo de bebés foi encontrado abandonado no meio da floresta, frágeis, assustados e indefesos.

Depois (em curso): Foram acolhidos pelo abrigo, receberam cuidados e estão a ser adotados aos poucos por famílias que lhes dão finalmente a segurança e o carinho que merecem.

A Nossa Missão

O que fazemos pela Nala, pela Nanda e pelos gatinhos fazemos por todos os animais que chegam até nós:

Resgatamos das ruas ou de situações de negligência.

Prestamos cuidados médicos e reabilitação.

Socializamos e treinamos para que voltem a confiar.

E, finalmente, encontramos famílias amorosas onde possam prosperar.

Cada animal tem uma história, e com a tua ajuda, podemos transformar histórias de abandono em histórias de esperança, recuperação e amor.

Cada valor, por menor que seja, faz a diferença. Juntos podemos manter vivo este abrigo – um lugar de esperança, amor e segundas oportunidades.

Help Us Save the Home of Our Four-Legged Friends!

The Animal Protection Association of Figueira da Foz (APAFF) is facing a critical moment.

The land that has housed our shelter for more than 20 years, in Caceira, Alhadas, is now for sale. The heirs are asking €65,000 — an unrealistic amount for our association, which depends only on membership fees, fundraising campaigns, and support from the City Council to cover the daily expenses of our 150 dogs and cats.

If we cannot purchase this land, we risk losing the shelter and leaving these animals without a safe home.

Our goal: to raise funds to buy the land and ensure that these animals continue to have a safe place, with veterinary care, food, and affection. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps keep this shelter alive.

Rescue Stories – Before & After

These are just a few examples of the work we do every day.

Nala’s Story

Before: Nala arrived with her friend Pointi. Both had been abandoned and cruelly left to their fate. Nala was frightened, thin, and hopeless.

After: Today, Nala is unrecognizable — she was adopted and now lives with a loving family who cherishes her. From a life of neglect to a life of love, Nala’s story shows what rescue can do.

Nanda’s Story

Before: Nanda was found alone, sitting next to a trash container — scared, sick, and invisible to the world. She had eye problems and was in desperate need of medical care and affection.

After (in progress): Nanda is now receiving eye treatment and is slowly learning to trust again. With socialization and care, she is discovering that not all humans will abandon her. Her journey is not yet over — but for the first time, she has a real chance at life.

The Forest Kittens

Before: A group of kittens was found abandoned in the middle of the forest , fragile, scared, and defenseless.

After (in progress): They were taken in by the shelter, received care, and are now gradually being adopted by families who finally give them the safety and love they deserve.

Our Mission

What we do for Nala, Nanda, and the kittens, we do for all the animals that come to us:

We rescue from the streets or from neglect.

We provide medical care and rehabilitation.

We socialize and train so they can learn to trust again.

And finally, we find loving families where they can thrive.

Every animal has a story, and with your help, we can turn stories of abandonment into stories of hope, recovery, and love.

Hilf uns, das Zuhause unserer Schützlinge zu retten!

Die Tierschutzvereinigung von Figueira da Foz (APAFF) befindet sich in einer kritischen Situation.

Das Grundstück, das seit über 20 Jahren unser Tierheim in Caceira, Alhadas beherbergt, steht zum Verkauf. Der von den Erben geforderte Preis beträgt 65.000 € – ein unrealistischer Betrag für unsere Vereinigung, die ausschließlich von Mitgliedsbeiträgen, Spendenaktionen und der Unterstützung der Stadtverwaltung lebt, um die täglichen Ausgaben für unsere 150 Hunde und Katzen zu decken.

Wenn wir dieses Grundstück nicht kaufen können, riskieren wir, das Tierheim zu verlieren und diese Tiere ohne ein sicheres Zuhause zurückzulassen.

Unser Ziel: Gelder sammeln, um das Grundstück zu kaufen und sicherzustellen, dass unsere Schützlinge weiterhin ein sicheres Zuhause mit tierärztlicher Versorgung, Futter und Zuwendung haben. Jede Spende, so klein sie auch sein mag, hilft, dieses Tierheim am Leben zu erhalten.

Rettungsgeschichten – Vorher & Nachher

Dies sind nur einige Beispiele der Arbeit, die wir jeden Tag leisten.

Die Geschichte von Nala

Vorher: Nala kam zusammen mit ihrem Freund Pointi zu uns. Beide waren ausgesetzt und grausam ihrem Schicksal überlassen worden. Nala war verängstigt, mager und ohne Hoffnung.

Nachher: Heute ist Nala nicht wiederzuerkennen – sie wurde adoptiert und lebt nun bei einer liebevollen Familie, die sie umsorgt. Von einem Leben voller Vernachlässigung zu einem Leben voller Liebe – Nalas Geschichte zeigt, was Rettung bewirken kann.

Die Geschichte von Nanda

Vorher: Nanda wurde allein neben einem Mülleimer gefunden – verängstigt, krank und für die Welt unsichtbar. Sie hatte Augenprobleme und brauchte dringend medizinische Versorgung und Zuwendung.

Nachher (noch im Gange): Heute wird Nanda an den Augen behandelt und lernt Schritt für Schritt, wieder zu vertrauen. Mit Fürsorge und Sozialisation entdeckt sie, dass nicht alle Menschen sie im Stich lassen. Ihre Reise ist noch nicht zu Ende – aber zum ersten Mal hat sie eine echte Chance auf ein Leben. ✨

Die Kätzchen aus dem Wald

Vorher: Eine Gruppe Babykatzen wurde allein im Wald gefunden – schwach, verängstigt und schutzlos.

Nachher (noch im Gange): Sie wurden im Tierheim aufgenommen, versorgt und finden nun nach und nach Familien, die ihnen endlich die Sicherheit und Zuneigung geben, die sie verdienen.

Unsere Mission

Was wir für Nala, Nanda und die Kätzchen getan haben, tun wir für alle Tiere, die zu uns kommen:

Wir retten sie von der Straße oder aus Vernachlässigung.

Wir leisten medizinische Versorgung und Rehabilitation.

Wir sozialisieren und trainieren sie, damit sie wieder Vertrauen fassen.

Und schließlich finden wir liebevolle Familien, in denen sie gedeihen können.

Jedes Tier hat eine Geschichte – und mit deiner Hilfe können wir Geschichten von Verlassenheit in Geschichten von Hoffnung, Heilung und Liebe verwandeln.

Jeder Beitrag, so klein er auch sein mag, macht den Unterschied. Gemeinsam können wir dieses Tierheim am Leben erhalten – ein Ort voller Hoffnung, Liebe und zweiter Chancen.
