Hey everyone, My name is Jordyn Davis! I am an award-winning bassist, composer, songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist from Detroit, MI currently based in Brooklyn, NY.

I have composed over 50 works of music for film, musical theater, contemporary chamber ensembles, jazz ensembles, symphonic bands & orchestras that with this platform I will be able to share with the world! This campaign is to support the startup costs of launching my independent publishing company "Composetheway Publishing".

As the first African-American woman to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Michigan State University as well as the first Michigan State student to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition and Jazz Studies concurrently, it is incredibly important to me to be able to protect & share my musical works on my own terms.
