Contractor Scam Victim Vegan Store

Hello,

My name is Christina. I am very passionate about the vegan community in Calgary. I run a local vegan grocery shop and wanted to expand into a cafe. I hired a contractor and he promised to complete my contruction. He asked for payment in advance for materials and equipments and promised everything would be complete by end of March 2022. Instead he took all of my money without completing my cafe. Now I do not have any savings left to complete the cafe as I am a retiree and sales have slowed down.

My only goal is to have the cafe completed and running and continue to serve the vegan community in Calgary.
