Completing Our Move Back To California

Hi Loves,

The reason why I've created our Go Fund Me is: OUR MOVE BACK TO CALIFORNIA WAS BEYOND EXPENSIVE. I moved back to be with my Mom who was living alone.

 

Ryan and I have a POD coming across country with our belongings, that's secure. Plane tickets, and for those who are moving items out of the POD, yes. (May was a busy month for me. Ryan's prom, graduation, and securing housing for the Fall semester at Kennesaw State, whew?!).

 

The last thing need is our car. The car is being delivered by transport. I'm an early planner so I went with the best offer.

I received a quote in March. This quote isn't being honored now because of high gas prices, the high transporting season, mileage, etc.

 

The quote I received first was $985. Now it has gone from $2400, to (talked down by my broker) $1900, I talked them down another $200 with $100 at pickup, leaving a balance of $1600.

 

If I had left the car in Georgia, this season won't end until September-December. Therefore, I had to get it out of the state.

 

The problem is, if the balance isn't paid at delivery, the car will then go to Sacramento. From there more fees will be added for storing it, to create even more stress.

 

The car is scheduled for delivery around the 8th of this month, June. I will be in close contact with the broker, and driver.

 

Your denotations will make this move complete. This was an expense I hadn't planned for.
