Detailed Explanation of Mohammad’s Situation and Expenses
I would like to provide a clear and detailed explanation of our current situation and how the donated funds are used, in full transparency with all supporters.
We are a family facing significant financial hardship, mainly due to the ongoing medical condition of Mohammad, who requires continuous treatment, medications, and medical supplies. These medical needs place a heavy burden on our limited income and make it very difficult for us to meet basic living expenses.
Monthly Expense Breakdown
• Housing Rent: $400
This covers the monthly rent for our home, which is essential to keep our family safe and stable.
• Basic Utilities and Essential Services: $50
This includes electricity, water, and other basic services required for daily living.
• Food and Daily Essentials: $250
Covers groceries and essential household needs for the family.
Total Monthly Expenses: $1,400 USD
All donations received through this campaign are used only for these essential living and medical expenses. None of the funds are spent on luxury items or non-essential purposes.

My name is Farzin--I live in the states and am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friends Jaber and Ruba. I got to know Jaber during the war on Gaza and since then we have become good friends. Please read their story and I hope you will consider donating to support his son's very dire medical needs.
Urgent Appeal: Help Secure Lifesaving Treatment for Mohammed, Our Brave 3-Year-Old Fighter
Hello, I’m Jaber Elghazali from Gaza. I am stranded in Egypt with my wife Ruba, our three-year old daughter Eileen and our five-year-old son Mohammed. We came to Egypt right before the genocide in Gaza to seek treatment for our dear Mohammed, who is battling cerebral atrophy. It is a life-threatening condition, and we fought for years to get him special treatment abroad.
But soon after we arrived in Egypt, the genocide broke out in Gaza, and now, with no way to contact our family back home and no funds left, we have had to stop Mohammed’s treatment — and his life is now at risk. The double heartbreak of watching our son suffer here in Egypt while our family suffers in Gaza is unbearable. We feel completely lost.
Mohammed, our little sunshine, brings so much joy into our lives with his beautiful smile. Despite his strength and resilience, the pain he endures breaks our hearts. We can no longer afford the intensive and vital physiotherapy sessions needed for his mobility and survival.
We created this new campaign out of desperation, after our previous efforts fell short. Your kindness and generosity can make a huge difference in Mohammed’s life. Please donate what you can and share his story widely.
Here are some images from my son's scans:
As we try to provide medical treatment for our son our home and life back in Gaza has been destroyed as well.
Together, let's ensure Mohammed's smile never fades. Thank you for your support.
Warm regards,
Jaber and Ruba
