Shelly's Tuition Fund

Howdy, my name is Shelly Carrasco and i'm an international student from Texas currently enrolled in the media foundation program in Toronto and entering the  spring semester of college at George Brown. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and participate in extracurricular activities involving filming video projects with other fellow students.
At the moment, i'm facing a financial obstacle, along with moving into a new apartment; I've recently discovered the tragic news that my parents are facing a tough situation regarding multiple hospital bills from my mother's amputation and physical therapy as a result of an accident abroad. Both my parents and I were paying out of pocket for my first semester in Toronto, and unfortunately as an international student, i'm unable to sign up for a loan, nor any form of financial aid.
Originally I was planning to move back to the United States because of this recent news, however,  i've already settled in Toronto and paid over $9,000 for my first semester.
In addition, i've also started a couple of projects with other people to finish and moving back would only set me back to square one again and eliminating any opportunity these projects may bring me. Therefore, I came to the decision to finish my studies and pay my last semester off as best as I can in order to get my certificate.
At the moment, i'm currently employed as a part-time worker and later doing full-time to pay a portion of last semester's tuition. The only issue is i'm paying rent and utilities, which breaks off a chunk of the slim paycheck I make at work. Lastly, the main issue of not paying the tuition would result in my study permit being revoked, losing my job, and being sent back to the United States after 90 days of withdrawal.
Thus, i'm making this GoFundMe to help out in paying at least a quarter of my current tuition costs so after the summer, i'll also have enough from my current job to pay the remaining balance, which will help me in being able to obtain a post-secondary work permit, allowing me to stay in the country after this semester to work full-time in Canada.
I'd be extremely grateful for any donation anyone may bring to me as it'll bring me that much closer to where I need to be in order to not just find success in my life, but to help my family as well.
