Friends & Family,
My Aunt Lori fell and shattered her knee cap in early October while on a much deserved vacation with her husband and grandson. While this accident was saddening to hear about, none of us expected such a hard road ahead. Lori had to have surgey right away, and it was understood that after surgery she would be able to be back at work by mid November. Unfortunately, her knee has not healed and her immune system is down causing infections to the area. She has now just been released from the hospital for the third time, after having to undergo two additional surgeries for infections of the wound. This has been extremely financially hard for her and her family. She is in extreme pain, and is now on home care for the next 8 weeks with daily IV antibotics, followed by rehab. (This is best case scenario, as we can only hope and pray that her knee heals over these next 8 weeks!).
I am asking for your help, as I know they could really use it. They have no real source of income at this time. My aunt and uncle are honest hard working people who have made it their number one priority to raise their 8 year old grandson who lives with them full time, and with Christmas coming, this makes everything that much more difficult.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. This will help pay for the mounting medical bills, and living expenses while Lori heals. Plus, seeing that people care when you feel like you are alone in your struggles can sometimes be the best medicine. (Especially around the holidays).
*Every dollar donated will go directly to the Cleary's.*
