Project Education in Uganda
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Magnus and I just turned 9. Last year I started working to help 41 kids finish primary school and start secondary school in Uganda. They were so happy that they even offered me a special fruit party if I ever get to Uganda and wrote about the Christmas miracle in their newspaper.
This year my whole family is working to make sure the 41 kids we helped continue study last year, can go through 2025 as well.
ALL of the kids from last year have passed their exams and shown they still really want to learn and we want to help them do this!
The money you donate goes directly to someone my mum (Davina) knows in Uganda to help 41 kids continue their education and pay their school fees in Kumala, Uganda. These children can't afford to go to school without help from somewhere else. It's important to me that they get an education because without that, they won't be able to have more opportunities in their life and stop living in poverty.
The girls are especially important to us because without continuing education, their families will likely send them to be married as they can't afford to continue supporting them.
We know we can reach this goal before the end of year if we all help out. I can't send books because it loses too much money, but I am selling some of my old books to help send the money and we are trying to do a Christmas cookie sale as well.
We are asking for your donations again this year and next year I plan to make a project to raise money in a different way so we can be sustainable and get these kids through all of their basic schooling and we can all finish secondary school around the same time!
Fundraising is actually pretty hard work, so if you can help us help them, it would be like a Christmas miracle!
Thank you and happy holidays, wherever and however you celebrate :)
