London Ontario Malayalee Assosciation (LOMA) would like to do a fundraiser for Sanjay Azhayil Subhash on compassionate grounds. Sanjay Subhash came to Canada, taking a 1+1 year course with the help of educational loan in August 2022. On 28th July 2023, he was on his way to his workplace in his colleague's car's rear seat. They had an accident which turned out to be catastrophic for Sanjay. He encountered multiple injuries in the accident. As a result he had to undergo colostomy surgery at LHSC which he will have to maintain atleast 1 year or until has intestines and bowel is all healed. On recent meeting with the doctor, we were informed that the reversal surgery may be possible probably in the next summer 2024. He can't be taken back to India since his lawyers advise not to do so as the vehicle insurance will not cover the medical expenses if he goes back to India. During his stay in Canada until he is in a post accident condition, he will not be able to earn or support his family. This is why we are seeking the help of Gofund me.
