Hi, my name is Leon Dowdy. This is difficult for me because I’m usually the one doing the giving. It is extremely difficult for me to ask; however, lately, things have been tough. I haven’t worked in six months. My COPD has gotten worse, in addition to having had a stroke five months ago. Presently, I am a couple of months behind on the bills and facing a 10-day eviction notice. I was at my wits' end while speaking with the pastor, and he suggested I try this, so I’m hoping that you’ll have some compassion. Your heart will be touched, and you might bless me to get through. I’ve already sold off everything with any real value that anybody would buy to get this far. I’m finally almost strong enough to go back to work. I’m not one who likes to complain and I’m somewhat embarrassed to ask, but if you could help with any little bit, I would certainly appreciate it.
