Compassion for Ginny/FatCatKnits

Ginny's eldest son Record took his life on November 8 2016.  Our community knows Ginny primarily through her 10 year old yarn and fiber dyeing business, FatCatKnits.  She has provided so many of us with beautiful fibers and yarns which deeply inspire and enrich our lives.  She is a fabulous artist and teacher, and supports her household solely from this business.  As a dear friend of Ginny's, and with her approval, I am asking our wonderful community to help her in this horrible time of grief. 

Ginny is in mourning and needs to put her work on hold for a while.  As her fiber business is her sole source of income it means she will go without during this immediate grieving period.  This is why I am asking anyone who can contribute any amount to do so.  I have chosen a flexible goal, but really any amount raised will be so greatly appreciated.  If you are a fiber artist feel free to auction something you've created on Ginny's behalf and share this link.

Ginny is a dear friend and inspiration to so many of us, and has managed through sheer talent and hard work to make a living from her beautiful fiber arts business.  Please help compassionately in her time of need.  Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!
