Hello,
My name is Danyell. My husband and I have been trying to have a child for close to 2years now. Finally got the 2 lines back in April. We were over the moon. Everything was going well until we had our anatomy scan on Monday. She was so active and happy. Then the Dr came in, and the first words out of their mouth was "I have some bad news". My heart dropped. Apparently we are one of the 1 in 10,000 whose child has fetal anacephaly, meaning she has no brain or skull. She will not survive outside the womb.
We were given the option to terminate however in TN because she still has a heartbeat and there are no exceptions for fatal fetal abnomality we aren't able to do it at a hospital that will take my insurance l. I was able to get an appointment in Roanoke however they are quoting me $2k not including any expenses to stay down there the 2 days. I need help, and I hate to ask for it. If you can find it in your heart to donate anything my family would be appreciative.
