**Update - We regret to report that our beloved Charmaine lost her courageous battle with lung cancer on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Our family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all of those who prayed, shared remembrances, and donated during this unprecedented time.** Our charming sister, mother, aunt, fellow soldier and friend Jossette Purkiss, lovingly known as “Charmaine”, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and bone cancer after suffering from Systemic Lupus Erythemetosus for a number of years. Jossette worked as a nurse for many years but as a result of her condition, dear Jossette is no longer able to work and has no health insurance to help cover the overwhelming medical bills that she must now face. 

While we understand that with the COVID-19 pandemic this is a devastating time for most people, we are hoping that you would find it in your heart to assist Jossett during this challenging time and appreciate any amount you are willing to contribute.
