A Fair Fight for a Life Changed by Parkinson's

Dear friends, both known and unknown,

URGENT UPDATE:

Now that my former partner of 31 years has filed for divorce, I am at risk for further financial, emotional, and psychological harm if I act alone without an attorney.

I’m so grateful for each of you, amazed and astounded at your generosity.

I need to raise $1500 additional for the retainer for the attorney who is reducing his hourly rate which is more likely to still be $300 an hour.

I would appreciate if you can share this widely so that I have the funds to be properly represented in court.

I’m happy to report that I am safely situated with my cat Lexi in an assisted living facility awaiting Medicaid to be approved.

I come to you with a heavy heart as this is a very difficult time in my life. Five years ago, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and though I am doing as well as can be expected, it has led to what appears to be the dissolution of my 31-year marriage.

At age 72 and having Parkinson’s, going out on my own wasn’t in the future planning.

I come to you humbly asking for your financial assistance, for my only income now is Social Security.
