A mother, a daughter and a cousin. All lives taken too soon.
Three people were killed and six others were injured after police said a 16-year-old driving a stolen car allegedly tried to escape officers, ran a red light and caused a five-car pileup in Hickory Hill on Tuesday night, police said.
A stop that cost the lives of these three women: 47-year-old Patrice Hughes, 47; her daughter Dantrice Stanback, 26, and their cousin Shekila Sively, 26.
The women were on their way home when they were hit by a speeding car that ran a red light at Kirby Parkway and Raines.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
As we all know, you can't prepare for tragedies but when they strike, we can rally around the family and shower them with love, kindness, compassion, and support.
This family would greatly appreciate any gifts of kindness during this time of bereavement.
All funds will be contributed towards the final resting of these three beautiful souls, gone too soon.
Any funds raised over the final expense cost will be distributed amongst the surviving children.
The bible reminds us in , Isaiah 35:10 that, “earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.”
