My name is Jane Owens, and I’m the owner of Visiting Angels Homecare in Tupelo, Mississippi. One of our beloved caregivers is facing every parent’s worst nightmare — the sudden, tragic loss of her daughter in a car accident that occurred early Sunday morning.

This mother is not only grieving the unimaginable loss of her child, but she is also carrying the overwhelming burden of trying to afford funeral expenses — something no parent should ever have to worry about while navigating such deep sorrow.

She is a single mom with limited financial resources, and she simply does not have the means to give her daughter the farewell she deserves. We are coming together as a community, as her work family, to lift her up and help shoulder this burden.

Every dollar raised will go directly to the funeral home to ensure her daughter is laid to rest with dignity and love.
