Company Rabbit’s Hip Dislocation vet bill

Hi,

My name is Lynda.

My 5-year-old pet rabbit, Company, had to be seen urgently a few weeks ago, by Sanctuary Vet Hospital, due to a dislocated right hip. Dr. Thusari worked for a whole hour doing her very best to manually relocate his hip, while he was under sedation. Unfortunately, it did not budge. What’s worse is, I’m who dislocated his hip! I was extremely tired and was repositioning my living room chair and had my partial body weight in it when I realized he was pinned between the chair and the floor :’(

It would really help me out if you could support this fundraiser because I would be able to pay the $548 I owe on the $1150 bill, and also pay for Company’s teeth burring procedure, (his upper front teeth are reaching his lower gums). As well, both Company and Timothy are overdue to receive their RHDV-2 vaccinations.

Fyi, I am currently a full time Bow Valley college student completing my 3rd of 4 practicums this semester. I’ll be finished this Level 3, Early Childhood Educator diploma in December, this year.

For what it’s worth, I rescued both these rabbits in 2020 outside the north entrance of the then Repsol Sportscentre (now MNP Sportscentre). They were about 3 weeks old then. They are both neutered and enjoy the best of health generally speaking.
