My friend Mindi White is a talented screenwriter who earns her living as a script reader for film studios and production companies. Since the strike, she's had no work.

Unfortunately, Mindi doesn't qualify for any of the financial assistance available to other strike-affected film industry workers. So she's slipping through the cracks—a casualty of the strike.
