Community Vibrancy Programs at Artworks

Tax deductible
Vitalizing our community through the arts and humanities

Join Artworks in making a difference as we raise funds to support our community programs--holding AfterSchool Art  for students in our community and working with adults and students with special needs to foster creativity and explore the world of art. Artworks is also supporting virtual Brown Bag lunches to spread arts and humanities knowledge throughout our community.

Artworks advances our mission by being a community gathering place. We create opportunities for people in to connect with friends and family, strike up conversations with a new friend, be creatively engaged, and learn something new about the world or themselves.

We have 8-12 exhibits a year; programs for kids, teens with disabilities, families, and adults; artist demonstrations; music and theater performances; summer camps; and classes. We sell original art made by Western Michigan artists at The Painted Turtle Gift Shop. Arts and culture are a core part of community and human vitality and should be part of our everyday lives.

To support Artworks, think about these three options: Take a class (adults and children), join our team (volunteers , artists, instructors ), become a member (support our programming).
