Community engagement through tennis for First Serve Tulsa
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Krishna Bhadriraju, and I’m a Life Scout in Troop 1, Tulsa, working on my Eagle Scout project—an opportunity for me to give back to the community that has supported me throughout my journey.
I’m a national-level tennis player, Oklahoma state champion, and proud recipient of the Tulsa Tennis Player of the Year award. Now, I’m using the sport I love to serve a greater purpose.
For my Eagle Scout project, I’m organizing a one-day community tennis doubles tournament with the goal of:
Raising awareness about the work of First Serve Tulsa
Increasing community engagement through a fun, inclusive sporting event
First Serve Tulsa is a nonprofit dedicated to building character and providing opportunity through tennis and education. They work with youth from diverse backgrounds, using the sport to teach discipline, respect, and resilience—values that align closely with Scouting.
To make this event a success, I’m aiming to raise $1,500 to cover essential tournament expenses, including:
Court reservation fees
Tennis balls
Trophies and medals
Snacks and water for players
First aid and safety supplies
Printing and signage
Marketing materials to promote the event
All funds raised beyond these costs will go directly to First Serve Tulsa to support their incredible programs and the kids they serve.
This project isn’t just about earning my Eagle rank—it’s about using my platform and passion to uplift others. Whether you’re a tennis supporter, Scout family, or just someone who believes in giving back to the community, your support can help make a lasting impact.
If you're able to donate, I’d be deeply grateful. And if you can’t contribute financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may want to support youth development in Tulsa.
Thank you so much for helping me bring tennis and service together for a great cause!
