Downtown Waukesha Mural Project

Hi everyone. As you know we had a very tragic event take place in our home town during our annual Christmas parade this 2021 in Waukesha, WI. We want to acknowledge all of the people who have been hurt either directly or indirectly by creating this beautiful installation for the community to see and enjoy while also remembering those who we lost.

We have created an amazing collaboration of artists to help bring some healing to our community through art by creating a mural downtown Waukesha.

 

We humbly ask for any kind of support, whether through time, monetary or supplies donations we are doing this mostly out of our money, Paint and essentials can be pretty expensive. 

You can support us by simply sharing this GoFundMe page. The most important part of this entire project is to create a domino effect that impacts the whole community in a positive way. All leftover funds will be donated to those directly affected. 

This is something we are working hard to create and bring to life.  We are constructing this installation starting April 25th and finishing on May 7th so we can incorporate our mural into the May 7th Art Crawl.

We have had a meeting with the Waukesha art committee about plans of construction and the overall design. The posted design you see now will not be exact to what we have fully planned for the wall. We would like to keep the final product a secret until next we can unveil it to the city so you will just have to stay tuned

 Our next and final meeting with the city is April 1st so we will post additional information as we have it.

We are grateful to have the space donated to us by Karissa jajtner, The owner of The Salty Toad using the wall to the right of the main door facing Friedman ally.

That day in November changed hundreds if not thousands of lives forever. My team and I are grateful to be able to help where we can. Creating this mural will be a very powerful way to show how much the community cares.
