The Jenner Post Office has been quiet for the last couple of weeks. The substitute is a helpful gentleman, but local residents have started to become concerned. Finding out today what is going on was not good. Our truly extraordinary Trina Peterson, who livens the place with her electric energy, knows everyone's needs, and keeps up with every detail of a demanding job, is out until late February with a severely fractured ankle. She cannot even get down her steps without fire department help, and has had to give up other work she needs to make ends meet. Her many Post Office customers want her to have a relaxed recovery from her injuries, without the additional panic and financial stress she is experiencing.
