Early the morning of Saturday, May 15, Monique Speight passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Monique leaves behind her husband, Steven, and two daughters, Makenna (9) and Sheridan (5).  

Steven and the girls will need support in many forms to work through their devastating loss. This fund, authorized by Steven, will be a crucial support to offset unplanned, immediate expenses and to help the family stabilize as they adjust to one income.  

Those of you who didn't know Monique should know she was a force of nature with intense love for her family and a deep commitment to community.  She juggled her family, career, friends, church, and myriad of community activities with an energy many of us can only dream of.  

Those of you who did know Monique recognize that her loss leaves a gaping hole in the lives of everyone she touched, especially as she was always the first to offer help and rally support when we needed it. 

Monique created a loving and supportive network of friends, family, neighbors and colleagues because she was someone we all knew we could turn to for friendship, encouragement, and help.  Terribly, now is an hour of need for Steven, Makenna, and Sheridan.  We are thankful for any support you may be able to provide.
