Support for the De Matos Family: Honoring a Beloved Husband and Father
We are parents from the Little Flower Catholic School community, coming together with heavy hearts to support one of our own.
Recently, our dear friends and fellow parents in the De Matos family suffered an unimaginable loss. Jason, a devoted husband and loving father, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his wife Olga and their two young children.
Jason was not only a pillar of strength in his own family, but also a kind, steady presence in our broader community. He loved his children with all his heart, and he worked hard to create a life filled with love, security, and possibility for them. His loss has shaken us all. As parents, this touches very close to home. None of us can imagine the pain of suddenly losing a partner, a parent — especially for a young family like this.
We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden now placed on Olga as she navigates this heartbreaking new reality. These funds will help with:
• Funeral and burial costs, including honoring Jason’s wish to be laid to rest in Massachusetts, where his family roots are.
• Immediate family expenses, giving Olga space to grieve and support her children without the added weight of financial stress.
• Longer-term support for the children as they grow, grieve, and heal.
This is a moment for our community to come together in the most meaningful way we can — to hold up this family with compassion and love, and to let them know they are not alone.
Please give what you can. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. And if you’re unable to give right now, sharing this page with others is another powerful way to help.
Thank you for standing with the De Matos family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
