My name is Gus Martin and I'm an Asst. Scoutmaster for Troop 490 in Monticello, IL. Yesterday, Andrew Beals, a loving son, devoted brother, grandson, nephew, Scout and friend to many, lost his life in a medical emergency.

Since I heard the news yesterday, we have been contacted by so many in the community on how they can help the Beals family, at this time. This is a small way that we can, until something more specific is communicated.

The Beals are lifetime residents of Monticello.

These funds will be given to the family to be used as they see fit.

We are unsure at this time when the services are and are giving the family space to grieve but will keep this fund up through the entire month of December.
